Well, my rule was away from refined sugar as much as is humanly possible. I got a nasty cold this week, and I had a lot of cough drops. I don't know how that will effect things. but I had to have cough drops.
Other than that, before I managed to get sick, I was feeling really great. The side effects of sugar withdrawal were gone, and I was feeling great. Cravings were even starting to go. Then I had cough drops and started dreaming about a cronut cake (something I should definitely invent someday) and my area manager came to town and put girl scout cookies by my desk all week. Being sick makes me want to eat sugar more than normal. So its a bit of a struggle still, but apart from the cough drops, we're still soldiering on, and I think doing well. Apart from the effects of this cold- coughing, sneezing, etc I feel excellent, and have for about a week. Once I hit day 21 things felt really amazing.
